Waves’ psychologists are here to help. We are well versed in the problems that can stress out college and university students. Dr. Camilla Williams and Dr. Abigail Weissman have several years of experience in working with college students, both on and off of campus.

We are trained in how to cope with adjusting to campus issues and how being at school can bring up all sorts of issues including how to balance school and all the fun on campus and your job(s) or lack thereof, finding friends, being away from your people at home, feeling isolated and lonely, even religious and sexual orientation and gender identity stuff can start to get bigger while at school. Plus, we are gender therapists so we are very experienced in talking and thinking about gender identity and in working with trans people.

Maybe no one in your family knows what it’s like to go to college and you have no one who gets what it’s like to be the first person to get there. We do. Dr. Camilla Williams was the first in her family to go to college.

Or perhaps you’ve started stressing out about your major, or grades, or relationships, or ya know, the stress in the world, we are here to support you in working through what’s been getting you down.
